Long Play Sessions presents: Portishead live in NYC + Clive Deamer Q&A

Date: Thu 23rd July 2026
Time: 7pm – 11pm
Price: Advance: £15-£17.50 / On The Door: £18.50
Location: The Rose Hill

For this special Long Play Sessions event, we invite you to come and be enthralled and immersed in the magic of Portishead’s live album & movie – Live at Roseland NYC.

We will also be welcoming renowned drummer Clive Deamer – who both played on the band’s albums and toured extensively as their live drummer (yes, including this NYC show). Clive will be doing a Q&A with Chris Simpson – host of The Stage Left podcast – and taking questions from the audience about his career playing drums for Portishead, Radiohead, Roni Size, Robert Plant and his own trio with Jim Barr – Get The Blessing

This is a rare opportunity to catch this stunning live concert film on the big screen with exceptional sound (EM Acoustics PA) in an intimate setting with some tasty, local beverages.

+ Special live set from ethereal. experimental artist Johanna Bramli setting the tone.

Long Play Sessions was conceived by Musician & Producer Steve Baker as a place where album lovers can enjoy seminal, ground-breaking and sonically interesting albums played loudly with like-minded music fans. Experiencing these unique albums in a communal setting is a way of deepening one’s connection with them. We’re used to listening on headphones or in the car – but our events add new layers of appreciation as we enjoy them with others.
