After a few years hiatus Eyeless records return to their spiritual home The Rose Hill with EYELESS JOY.
Featuring acts hand picked from Brightons creative sphere including Evadney, Ingrid Plum, M.Butterfly, Bo Lucas, Terse Affection, David K Frampton, Peace For Old Ghosts, join us for a day of art that will be as challenging as it is heartfelt.
David K Frampton
Eyeless head of the board and cultural patron will be showcasing some of his raw and sparse songs in this solo set, trading drum machines and synths for a single piano and voice. A special, one off performance indeed.
Evadney
Visionary and deep electronic experimentation with crystalline and beautiful vocals. Evadney has just released his debut album on Eyeless “It’s Dreaming”.
M. Butterfly
slow and sad country songs from the once solo act now 2 piece band. Expect strong lyrics and silence in the room.
Bo Lucas
Tapes for Diane singer steps out solo, presenting her dark songs, moving melodies and stunning voice.
Ingrid Plum
Experimental and beautiful music that has been described by the Wire as “succinct and nourishing”. Ingrid uses field recordings, percussion and electronics to create exotic vistas of sound.
Terse Affection
noisy and country, but post punk as well? an amalgamation of sounds to create something indescribable.
Peace for Old Ghosts
an Eyeless legacy act will be giving a rare performance of his heartfelt folk rock. See it now before he returns into hibernation!
