The experimental film night is BACK! Compiled and presented by Ian Helliwell, screening alternative and unusual shorts based around a specific theme – this month focussing on the subject of Dance and Movement.
Synch Pulse returns with a dynamic programme of dancers and performers captured on film. Featuring disco dancing and choreographed dance troupes, through to animation, art happenings, and stilt walking, a plethora of fleet-footed movers and shakers will be presented in a variety of offbeat shorts. The first Synch Pulse held at The Rose Hill in 2024 was dance themed, and this fresh selection of films will include a video of a live dance performance from that event.
A free bi monthly film night (grab a flyer when you are next in ) packed with weird and wonderful films and music, Synch Pulse features a different theme for each programme, represented by archive and contemporary shorts, animations, documentaries, vintage adverts, and trailers, with a strong emphasis on electronic music and experimental soundtracks.
