“Time is hard to hold onto. It fragments, it slows, it quickens. It loops around on itself.
Sometimes all you can do is hop between these folds in time.”
Will Greenham (Blind Yeo)

YESSSS! Cornish Psych at it’s very best! After an explosive and brilliantly received KEXP live set (check out the comments, people LOVE them!!) we are hugely excited to welcome Blind Yeo to The Rose Hill. Long form songs with Kosmiche-style driving rhythms you can lose yourself in, this is mesmerizing live music.

Led by Will Greenham and Anosuka Helm, Blind Yeo features a shifting cast of members from its collective spirit. The project began in the quiet and solitude of lockdown, before coming alive in a creatively explosive residency at the newly opened Cornish Bank in 2022 – a vibrant not-for-profit community arts space (The Cornish equivalent of The Rose Hill, run by the wonderful lot behind Smugglers Festival) in the centre of Falmouth which has become the heart of a thriving underground Cornish scene of which Blind Yeo are very much a part. The band has since grown into a psychedelic carnival of sound best experienced live, as their memorable sets at festivals from Shambala and Smuggler’s to Solfest, Cornish Bank Summer Camp, Tropical Pressure and psych fests in Brighton, Manchester and Edinburgh have all proven.

“ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE SOUND OF BLIND YEO”
LAUREN LAVERNE, BBC 6 MUSIC

Blind Yeo self-released their debut EP Echoes in April 2023, with tracks receiving plays from NTS, Soho Radio and BBC Introducing. It was followed in May 2024 by their Lost Map debut single ‘Otherside’ – a six-and-a-half-minute blur of motorik beats, rave synths and jagged electric guitar runs which received support from BBC 6 Music’s New Music Fix. Blind Yeo’s second EP Anam Cara was recorded last summer in guitarist and sound technician Dan Gilbert’s cob house, off-grid, solar powered studio hidden in woodland just off the north coast of Cornwall. Instead of putting it out as a purely standalone release, they decided to pair it up with Echoes to create a debut compilation album, Echoes / Anam Cara. It’s a revealing document of the band’s first two years together, and the thrilling journey of discovery they’ve been on to date.

+ support from THIMBLE – up and coming local and exceptional prog – art – folk something four piece band. Recently they sold out their debut show here at The Rose Hill and blew everyones mind with their top vocal harmonies, twisting melodies and progressive arrangements. `
