‘Seven in the Morning’ is the latest single from ChopChop, the high energy artrock band from Brighton fronted by Galician writer Xelís de Toro. Released on beautiful lathe-cut traansparent red vinyl, the song takes the band’s sound in a direction away from proggy post-punk and more into a dubby danceteria soundworld that brings to mind Tom Tom Club and Adrian Sherwood’s On-U Sound records – the band here partly inspired by the wild dancing that has been going on at recent ChopChop gigs!
