José Almarcha graduated in classical guitar at the Tomelloso Municipal Conservatory. He continued his music studies in the city of Córdoba, obtaining a Bachelor of Flamenco Guitar at the Superior Conservatory of `music.He has studied with internationally renowned guitar teachers such as Paco Serrano, Manolo Franco and El Niño de Pura.
Let yourself be carried away for an hour and a half of wonderful music by this trio of percussion, piano and flamenco guitar taking you on a powerful and emotional journey traversing many different flamenco styles with a contemporary but always familiar flare.
Almarche deeply relates the beautiful mournful roots of Flamenco to that of the Blues in its cries and stories very much rooted in oppression and struggle.
