Following the release of 3 EPs on Black Acre, being remixed by I.JORDAN (Ninja Tune), inclusion on Jamz Suopernova’s BBC Radio ‘Ones To Watch’ list, the Glastonbury Emerging talent list and creating an audiovisual live show that was performed in the UK and China, Evadney’s debut album ‘It’s Dreaming’ looks set to solidify him as a bold new voice on the UK music scene. ‘It’s Dreaming’ is released on March 6th by Eyeless Records – liste to two tracks now and pre-order the album!
Born and raised in the UK, Evadney grew up in a large Caribbean family with a Jamaican mother and Barbadian father. Influenced by old school soca and calypso tunes through to artists such as Kate Bush, Bjork and Grace Jones, he later studied the likes of John Cale, Stockhausen and Musique concrète during his MA in Music Composition at Goldsmiths University.
