Originally from Guatemala, Mabe is now based in Mexico city. She uses cello, voice and synthesisers to present sound in the form of installation, composition & free improvisation. Mabe’s music transcends limitations: through a hypnotic and captivating performance, she fuses contemporary components such as synthesisers, arrays of electronic effects and pedals with influences that travel from Gregorian chants to Sephardi music, ingredients for a potent sonic ritual that create a profound emotional impact.
Her 2019 debut LP, Pies Sobre la Tierra, introduced the world to Fratti’s lush & hypnotic cello compositions. Her recent album Será que ahora podremos entendernos, earning acclaim from Pitchfork, NPR, BBC, The Wire, The Guardian, XLR8R, Bandcamp, and more, finds a space for lyrical invention, elevating her otherworldly creations to new heights. The album’s title translates as Will we be able to understand each other now? Mabe’s Cello is still a prominent aspect of the work here but it comes draped in vintage synths, guitars, field recordings, and gentle drone. Mabe’s recent EP with friend and collaborator Conceptión Huerta, Estática, earned critical acclaim from The Quietus, The Wire and Atwood Mag, and further demonstrated Mabe’s breadth of musical exploration and experimentation.

Brighton-based Night House blend electronic beats, orchestral arrangements and lyric-driven song-writing, drawing from a wide range of influences such as the electronic work of James Blake and Radiohead and the folk harmonies of Sufjan Stevens, Joni Mitchell, and Bon Iver.
In 2020 Night House released their debut album Everyone Is Watching From Afar which was co-produced and mixed by Dan Brown (Massive Attack, Jerry Williams, Luca). Personal lyrics drift over warm strings and clarinets, where layered vocal harmonies meet icy synthesizers and electronic beats. The songs are full of melody and ambition, accessible yet layered and deceptively complicated. Themes of family, relationships, loss, societal pressures, and emotion resonate throughout the album.
Night House's spell-binding live performances see singer and multi-instrumentalist Nick Williams moving between synthesisers, drum machines, mandolin, and acoustic guitar. He's backed by the layered strings of Alfie Weedon on double bass and Robin Squirrell on cello.
