Love Thy Neighbour presents: Nanocluster - Cubzoa & Immersion

  • The Rose Hill 70 Rose Hill Terrace Brighton, England, BN1 4JL United Kingdom (map)

Thursday 21st September | 7:30pm | £12 advance tickets

Due to a change in touring schedules, Nanocluster will now happen on Thursday 21st September. Original tickets valid, if you can't make the new date refunds are available from point of purchase.

Nanocluster was conceived by Immersion (aka Malka Spigel and Colin Newman of Minimal Compact and Wire respectively). The club has featured a range of influential and cutting edge music acts, previous acts include Thor Harris, Tarwater, Laetitia Sadier, Ulrich Schnauss and Scanner. The unique aspect of the evenings is that each show climaxes with a one off collaboration between Immersion and the headliners, which is Cubzoa for this event.

Cubzoa: Jack Wolter is an artist based in Brighton who performs as Cubzoa as well as with much-loved Penelope Isles, the band he formed with his sister Lily. Wolter’s music is often intimate and delicate, personal and touching. A feeling of melancholy is never too far away in these new songs. Jack is an instinctive and fearless artist who will write from the heart even if it hurts like hell. The raw edges that come from broken relationships lend a real authenticity to his solo work with Cubzoa, as well as the songs he is writing for the band Penelope Isles' next album. For fans of Neil Young, John Martyn, Judee Sill, Jackson C Frank and Paul Simon.
