It is always SUCH a pleasure to hear string players at the top of their game playing acoustically in an intimate space! For that reason and many others we are super excited to have virtuosic cello and violin duo Fran & Flora back with us, in the lead up to the release of the much anticipated second album. They are World-Class musicians performing compositions and improvisations based around the modes and melodies of Transylvanian, Klezmer, Romanian, Greek and Armenian music.

Their first album‘Unfurl’, won wide-spread critical acclaim, was runner up in the Songlines album of the year, and was the culmination of three years studio work with producer Sam Beste (The Vernon Spring / Hejira) where they explored their aesthetic, experimenting with interweaving textures and layers, electronics and analogue processing.
