A multifarious artist with a unique voice and a cohesive global sound she likes to call jazzy folk soul, her latest project Folklore Chapter 1 dives deep into her South African cultural heritage, conjuring the spirit of the ancestors with her highly expressive musical journey.
Her album Folklore Chapter 1 was awarded Best African Adult Contemporary Album at the 26th edition of the South African Music Awards. For this special UK appearance, Pilani will be performing songs from Folklore Chapter 1 as well as previewing brand new material from her upcoming album Folklore Chapter 2.
