A night of rad new synth infused samba music and more from Brazil. They will be hitting the Rose Hill stage fresh from a live session with Cerys Mathews and their show at Le Guess Who Festival!

Both artists Domenico Lancellotti and Ricardo Dias Gomes are age old friends and will accompany the other on stage to play their new music.

Domenico Lancellotti and Ricardo Dias Gomes are revered names within Brazilian music over the past 20 years. As a member of the +2’s, with Moreno Veloso and Kassin, Domenico released a trio of albums on Luaka Bop in the early 00s that pioneered a new Rio samba sound with elements of funk and psychedelia. Multi-instrumentalist Ricardo Dias Gomes first came to notice as a member of Caetano Veloso’s band Cê which helped reinvigorate Caetano’s career. Joined by a percussionist they will each perform sets of from their respective 2023 releases - Domenico's 'sramba' (Mais Um) and Ricardo's 'Muito Sol' (Hive Mind).
