BBG Basics is an informal, friendly, and supportive workshop for women and gender minorities covering the basics of DJing. Featuring local-grown talent + special guest DJ Priya!

They’ll cover the basics of DJing, breaking down some of the DJ lingo and explaining the basic mechanics of mixing one song into another. ALSO local-grown talent DJ Priya, who has clocked 2 boiler room appearances in the last 2 years, will be coming down to show you her top tips for getting started mixing on decks, making a name yourself, and breaking into the music scene as a female DJ. You’ll get an opportunity to try mixing a song either on CDJs or a controller, as well as getting the opportunity to meet some of Brighton’s friendliest queer DJs on the scene.
