A paint spattered selection of short films and offbeat documentaries, the line up will feature artists working on canvas and a range of other materials, as well as filmmakers who draw and paint directly onto film. From action painting and shooting at canvases with rifles, to literally drawing a soundtrack that can be translated optically via a projector to make it audible - various different facets of graphic art will be brought together in one lively and stimulating film programme.

Synch Pulse is a monthly free entry experimental film night featuring a different theme for each programme, represented by archive and contemporary shorts, animations, documentaries, vintage adverts and trailers, and public information films. With a strong emphasis on electronic music and experimental soundtracks, it is compiled and presented by artist, musician and filmmaker Ian Helliwell.
