Glue Gun are a Brighton/Leeds based film programming duo with a love of cult and genre cinema.

Cult film programmers Glue Gun present one of the most idiosyncratic and visually stunning American horror films of the 1970s.

The only horror film made by writer/director team Gloria Katz and Willard Huyck, with production design by Joan Mocine (Badlands) and Jack Fisk (Mulholland Drive), Messiah of Evil is a waking nightmare of post-hippie pessimism and neon California Gothic.

“Brilliantly captures a lightning essence of horror that no other ever bothered to bottle: the horror of neon by night, of 24-hour gas stations and grocery stores, of muzak that sounds as if it's played by long-dead musicians.” - Tim Lucas, Sight & Sound
