Calvin has been a hugely influential figure on independent freak scenes since way back in the 80's. Ever heard of KURT COBAIN? had a tattoo of Calvin's record label 'K Records'. Howsabout BECK? his first album was a collaboration with our good buddy Cal. RIOTGRRRL? Took off in Olympia, Washington with a little helping hand from Beat Happening in the late 80's.
