Whilst Brighton hums and teems with the strange insects attracted to The Great Escape festival, we thought we’d do some teaming ourselves. So we’ve teamed up with three superb local collectives to host the fourth instalment of the FAKE escape festival. It’s free, it’ll be fun, and we’ve extended our licence til midnight for it.

We will host 12 Acts spread out across 9 hours, on two floors, all curated in collaboration with this lot:

• Lost Property - master purveyors of all things radical, interesting and full of integrity. They put on the unrivalled Fort Process sound art festival in Newhaven fort.

• Luma - they delve deep into re-scoring old films and found video footage. Most likely they will make a cinema space in our basement for the day, with live musicians accompanying the films.

• Ceremonial Laptop - bringing all sorts of sonic adventurers and aural exciters, plumbed from the sonorous mists of the murky underworld.
