ASTRAL SOCIAL CLUB

Neil Campbell has been active on the lunatic fringe of underground music since at least 1979. In that time he has performed and recorded widely as solo performer, ad hoc collaborator and core member of groups such as Vibracathedral Orchestra, A Band and Sunroof. His collaborations are myriad, including Richard Youngs, Campbell Kneale, High Wolf, Grumbling Fur, John Clyde-Evans, Filthy Turd, Oren Ambarchi, Ashtray Navigations, Spider Stacy, David Larcher, Blood Stereo, John Olson and Matthew Bower. Writers have described him variously as “a one-man subculture”, a “grandfather figure” with “hallucinogenically inclined pallet”. Neil shares his birthday with Grace Jones, Malcolm X, Ho Chi Minh, Pol Pot and Joey Ramone – LOOKOUT!

SHARON GAL

Sharon Gal is an interdisciplinary artist, performer, vocalist and composer, specialising in free improvisation, experimental music and collaborative, participatory large group compositions. She works with voice, electronics, extended techniques, field recordings, found audio, video and collage; exploring presence, listening, embodiment, and the relationship between people, sound and space. Sharon performs solo and in collaborations with: David Toop, John Butcher, John Edwards, Sue Lynch, Andie Brown, Yoni Silver, Steve Beresford, Phil Minton, Charles Hayward, Anat Ben David and Lina Lapelyte.

THE PISS SUPERSTITION

Legendary, long standing solo electronic wizardry, from Julian Bradley (Vibracathedral Orchestra).
It’s the sound of all the sentient AI dying from fatal migraines.
Fires for Progress.
A Companion as Glamorous as Sleeping on Wheels.
Valentine the World Hates Us.

THE POLLY SHANG KUAN BAND

Formed in 2000 but laying dormant since 2008 The Polly Shang Kuan return to serve up another batch of head and ear cleansing loop and noise damage this time featuring Karen Constance, Elkka Nyoukis, Maurren Hollomas and Isa Blood. Sonic chaos as salve.

RUSSELL WALKER

In 2025 Russell released Back to the Womb (Regional Bears  LP), Have You Ever Seen Me In The Spring (with Rebecca Mahay, Chocolate Monk CD), and This Moreish Life (self released, digital only). He lives in Hitchin and is currently writing a fictional memoir. He is 45 year old divorcee and functioning alcoholic.

STONE CORNELIUS

bizarro performance actions with audio embellishments. Dancing somewhere in the foggy gaps between fluxus dingbattery, variety show skit and plain old goofing around. Good clean fun by and for the cooked imagination.

FEGHOOTS

Recent Leeds to London transplant Pete Cann primarily works with errant synthesis and collapsed sample manipulation, often fed through aggressive filtration. Erratically active in some form or another since 2009.
